As Director of Quality Management, Asa Gismervik is responsible for the strategic implementation and oversight of all quality initiatives within Apkudo Operations. He holds primary ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), working in close collaboration with the CIO and key stakeholders to align quality strategies with the company’s overarching goals. Asa ensures that internal processes, from testing and quality control to product delivery, are optimized to exceed customer requirements and operational standards.

As a Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, Asa brings a level of disciplined rigor to the organization, advising project teams on QA/QC objectives and maintaining the high-performance metrics that allow Apkudo to scale efficiently.

Asa has been a cornerstone of the Apkudo team for over 14 years, providing a depth of institutional knowledge that spans the company’s evolution. He began his tenure as Lab Manager, directing the mobile device testing lab and optimizing diagnostic execution to ensure operational excellence.

Following that, Asa served as Data Analyst Manager and Director of Quality Assurance. In these roles, he led the design of complex data sets and refined the validation protocols that protect the integrity of the Device Passport Platform. This progression from lab operations and data leadership to high-level QA informs his current role, allowing him to lead Quality Management with a holistic, 360-degree understanding of the entire device lifecycle.

Outside of work, Asa enjoys walking his two dogs, kayaking, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and smoking his own meats and cheeses.
